We work closely with a number of organizations which either help us to fulfil orders or share common interests and values (see Associates). We have less formal links with a much more numerous body of companies, charities and individuals. These include suppliers, museums and associations listed in The Victorian House Book, for example, and tour guides, tourist information offices, hostels, guest houses and camp-sites recommended in the Wild Guides, along with many bodies connected with the subject matter of other books. Here are a few you might find helpful, grouped in broad categories. Many of the companies we recommend have been trading since Victorian times or earlier, in which case their foundation date is prominently displayed.
